Occupy 4:20

On October 7, 2011, at a press conference in Sacramento, U.S. Attorneys announced its enforcement actions against medical marijuana collectives in California: http://yubanet.com/california/California-39-s-Top-Federal-Law-Enforcement-Officials-Announce-Enforcement-Actions-Against-State-39-s-Widespread-and-Illegal-Marijuana-Industry.php#.To-0NnO1ll1

In solidarity with patient protesters in Sacramento, Patient Advocacy Network held an emergency response rally in downtown Los Angeles. We encountered many activists there who are acting in solidarity with the Occupy Wall St. movement. Our presence was well received and our message heard. Legalizing cannabis and ending the Drug War is part of the solution. Cannabis prohibition is yet another example of government lies, corporate greed and institutionalized racism/classism. Pot smokers are the 99%.

As PAN is a voice for medical marijuana patients’ rights and ending cannabis prohibition we encourage all supporters to Occupy 4:20. Organize peaceful Occupy 4:20 events in your local area: Make signs, make t-shirts, take to the streets and make some noise because the Occupy Wall St. movement understands our message.

Download the attached flyer to educate local activists about the escalated federal attacks on medical marijuana. Use the flyer to promote your local Occupy 4:20 events. Contact Patient Advocacy Network if you want to learn more. Be Safe & Power To The Peaceful.
